I began working part-time at Generations in 2015. I hoped that Generations would be a good place for me to carry out my passion for helping others. I enjoyed working with the residents and helping Generations succeed in their mission to end the cycle of abuse. This led me to taking a full-time Mental Health Counselor position.  I have worked for Generations as a Mental Health Counselor, a Human Services Professional, the Staff Development Manager, and in 2019 I was promoted to Human Resources Manager. Although my position is different than when I first started with Generations, I love that I am still able to make a difference in the lives of others. I still participate as an aftercare counselor when the residents graduate the program and I enjoy being an advocate for Generations employees. I firmly believe that it takes a village and that we are all in this together.
